Role Description The Audit Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting audit and financial review activities for Hollow Star Solutions and its initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting in the examination of financial records, reviewing financial statements for accuracy and consistency, and supporting internal audit procedures. The intern will help document findings, prepare summaries, and communicate insights to team members in clear, structured formats. This role also involves researching relevant financial and audit standards, organizing data, and contributing to process improvements that enhance transparency and accountability. The internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world auditing practices while aligning with the company’s reflective approach to professional growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support audit conclusions. Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate effectively with remote team members. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance and familiarity with Financial Statements to assist in financial review and analysis. Candidates should possess an interest in Auditing and basic understanding of audit principles or coursework related to assurance and controls. Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, integrity in handling sensitive information, proficiency with spreadsheets and office tools, and current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
