Enterprise Risk Management Internship
Join our Enterprise Risk Management Team!As an integral member of the Enterprise Risk Management team at The Walt Disney Company, you will engage in a dynamic internship focused on enhancing insurance, loss control, and safety programs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital initiatives related to property insurance, analytics, and loss prevention. Our philosophy stresses that most accidental losses to life and property can be prevented, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who share this belief.This full-time internship lasts three months, from May 2026 to August 2026. You will primarily support the initiatives related to property and casualty insurance placements, which includes data manipulation and analytics. Your role may also involve on-site activities during appraisals at our Parks & Resorts locations and collaborating with our safety professionals during local site safety audits. Throughout your internship, you will have opportunities to participate in various departmental projects and network with clients, consultants, and team members, sharing your fresh ideas and insights.Required Qualifications & Skills:Demonstrated interest in Risk Management functions, including insurance programs, analytics, safety programs, fire prevention, and business continuity initiatives.High energy and self-motivation with a strong desire to thrive in a professional corporate environment.Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and take ownership while contributing positively to a flexible team environment.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.Outstanding attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.Technical proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills.A personal vehicle is recommended as local travel may be required (i.e. The Studio Lot, Disneyland Resort).Preferred Qualifications:Previous coursework or experience in Risk Management and/or Insurance.Education:Preferred candidates are juniors or seniors.Relevant majors or courses in Risk Management, Insurance, Security, Business Management, Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or related fields.Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree at the time of application or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.At least 18 years of age.Unrestricted work authorization is required.Must not have completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney internship or College Program.Additional Information:Full-time availability (approximately 40 hours per week) is required during normal business hours (8:30 am - 5:00 pm).This is an on-site position, but candidates should have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for any potential work-from-home days.Candidates must provide their own housing and reliable transportation for the internship duration.We encourage you to save a copy of this job description for reference throughout the interview process, as it will not be accessible after the posting closes.The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour, with select benefits possibly available as part of the compensation package depending on the level and position offered.
