Head of Social Commerce | Remote US | $180k + Bonus + great benefits I’m partnering with a fast-growing 8-figure (fast tracking to 9-figure) US consumer brand to hire a Head of Social Commerce . This is a genuine build role. The business already has strong product-market fit, a loyal customer base, excellent repeat behaviour and a highly visual, collectible product that is naturally suited to creator-led commerce. The opportunity now is to turn social commerce into a major new customer acquisition engine. TikTok Shop is the immediate priority , but the remit goes well beyond simply managing the shop. You’ll own the broader social commerce ecosystem across: TikTok Shop growth creator and affiliate strategy sampling, gifting and creator community LIVE commerce creator briefing, hooks and content strategy paid amplification into TikTok and Meta merchandising, offers and product strategy channel economics and profitability A major part of the role is building the creator engine properly. That means creating the systems around recruitment, onboarding, briefing, incentives and creator performance, identifying the content that is actually converting, and making sure the strongest assets are being scaled across paid media. This is also a highly commercial role. The founder is not interested in vanity GMV. They want someone who understands creator costs, commissions, sampling, platform fees, paid amplification and contribution, and who can build social commerce as a profitable business inside the business. The environment is lean, entrepreneurial and high autonomy. You’ll have direct access to leadership, real ownership of the roadmap, and the opportunity to shape the operating model and build the team as the channel grows. What I’m looking for: Strong TikTok Shop / social commerce experience Proven creator and affiliate programme ownership Experience scaling consumer brands through creators and short-form content Strong commercial understanding of channel economics Experience with LIVE commerce is highly valuable Comfortable working closely with paid media teams and using creator content in performance marketing Builder mentality, high agency and comfortable operating without a finished playbook Package up to $180k base 20% target bonus 30% maximum bonus Fully remote US Benefits include premium medical, dental and vision with 100% employer contribution for the employee, 401k, life insurance and flexible remote working.
