Manager, Informatics
Job Description:
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and related data processes
- Deploy SSRS reports and Power BI reports according to team standards and established deployment practices
- Use automated processes to deploy stored procedures to team databases
- Develop, maintain, and support SSIS packages for extracting production data, preparing SFTP files, and loading vendor data into team databases
- Support scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes, including issue identification and resolution
- Update and maintain team-developed applications
- Partner with technical and business teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support solution delivery
- Support reporting, database, and application reliability
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and process consistency
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in application support, database support, informatics, or a related technical role
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting and deploying SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
- Experience using Visual Studio
- Experience with GitHub or similar source control tools
- Experience with enterprise scheduling tools, scheduled jobs, and job failure troubleshooting
- Programming experience with VB.NET and C#
- Experience developing or supporting automated deployment processes for database objects such as stored procedures
- Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data between production systems, vendor files, and internal databases
- Experience supporting secure file transfer processes such as SFTP
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
