Quickbooks Bookkeeper
This is a remote position.
Working approximately 10 to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling, this remote part-time position supports the finance function of a care agency. The role involves managing transactional records, client income and expenses, and supplier distributions for an agency overseeing 130 payroll carers and 200 active clients.
The impact of the role focuses on delivering meticulous ledger maintenance and account reconciliations within QuickBooks Online. Acting as a key administrative anchor, the successful incumbent will oversee daily transaction logging, process supplier invoices for payment approval, verify carer timesheets, and compile monthly financial reports.
The environment requires a reliable, organised professional based in South Africa who possesses previous UK bookkeeping experience and can operate independently to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
QuickBooks Online Management: Manage QuickBooks Online, allocate incoming and outgoing payments accurately, and log all incoming invoices.
Bank & Supplier Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts regularly and prepare supplier payment schedules for final approval.
Payroll Information Preparation: Check and verify carer timesheets to prepare accurate payroll information.
Financial Reporting & Document Control: Produce comprehensive monthly financial reports, track client income and expenses, and file all invoices in designated digital directories.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
Previous UK bookkeeping experience.
Proven, strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and maintain structured records.
South Africa-based with availability to work flexible part-time hours (10–20 hours per week) including some UK business-hour availability.
Previous UK bookkeeping experience.
