Role Description The Recruiter role at Novawave LLC is a remote, contract position focused on identifying and engaging top talent for technical and non-technical roles. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing candidates through multiple channels, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating hiring steps with hiring managers and stakeholders. The Recruiter will manage candidate pipelines, maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems, and provide timely communication and a positive experience to all applicants. This role also involves partnering with leadership to understand hiring needs, refining job descriptions, and advising on best practices for inclusive, data-driven hiring in a fast-moving, innovation-focused studio environment.
Qualifications
Experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination for technical and creative roles. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), professional networking platforms, and online sourcing tools. Strong skills in stakeholder management, including collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies. Demonstrated ability to provide clear, timely written and verbal communication to candidates and internal teams. Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices, with commitment to maintaining a fair, non-discriminatory recruitment process. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize multiple requisitions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience recruiting for technology, AI, or digital product roles is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
