[Remote] Analytics Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ST&R Portfolio Management is seeking an Analytics Engineer to support dependable data infrastructure. The role focuses on developing and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines, data models, quality checks, monitoring, and technical documentation using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable ingestion and transformation workflows for analytical or operational datasets
• Write maintainable SQL and Python code for data preparation, modeling, and pipeline automation
• Review pipeline health and trace failed or incomplete runs to their underlying technical cause
• Keep schemas, dependencies, transformation rules, and data-model documentation current
• Add validation and monitoring that surfaces data-quality problems early in the workflow
• Support controlled changes to data infrastructure with documented testing and rollback considerations

Skills

• Practical familiarity with SQL, Python, and ETL
• Consistent accuracy when working with Data Pipelines and Data Modeling
• Clear written communication and disciplined documentation habits
• Ability to manage assigned work, deadlines, and follow-up without making unsupported assumptions
• Comfort coordinating remotely through shared systems and written communication
