[Remote] Backend Engineer

They are seeking a Backend Engineer to take significant ownership in building their cloud service, data pipelines, and ML platform, collaborating with a small team of seasoned engineers.
Responsibilities
- Building production-grade backend services and APIs to delight customers
- Owning major projects from inception to deployment, shipping at a rapid pace
- Architecting simple yet flexible solutions, and then scaling them as we grow
Skills
- 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade backend services
- Mastery of Python and perhaps PySpark
- Familiarity with AWS technologies
- Experience building and scaling distributed architectures
- Experience with data pipelines
- Sense of urgency
