[Remote] Business Operations Program Manager

The Business Operations Program Manager will support Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure by managing business processes, coordinating reporting, analyzing workforce trends, and preparing executive-ready insights. The role also focuses on workforce planning, dashboard maintenance, communications, ad-hoc analysis, and operational process automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly KR refresh process, coordinating with team leads to ensure accurate, timely status updates
- Consolidate KR results into executive PowerPoint presentations
- Manage headcount trends and Position Control Number (PCN) reporting
- Build Excel models that project headcount using current staffing data, attrition assumptions, and hiring plans
- Maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring business reports
- Develop weekly communications for the management community and monthly executive updates
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support workforce planning and business decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate operational processes using AI and reporting tools
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, financial planning, or a related function
- Experience managing rhythm-of-business processes, leadership reviews, reporting, and organizational planning
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, and projections
- Experience with Power BI or comparable reporting and visualization tools
- Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation-development skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to quickly learn internal processes
- Experience supporting a technology or engineering organization
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI productivity tools
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, databases, or automated reporting workflows
