[Remote] Cloud Firewall Engineer

The company is seeking a Cloud Firewall Engineer to manage Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls, security and NAT policies, virtual machine scale sets, and firewall migrations and automation in Azure and other IaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Firewall engineer experience in managing Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Expertise is managing security policies and NAT policies in Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Knowledgeable in managing virtual machine scale sets
- Understanding of strict change management policies
- Experience in collapsing two or more firewalls into one
- Has conducted a migration of Checkpoint Firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls in Azure
- Experience with leveraging Strata Cloud Manager to manage a large number of firewalls
- Experience in using python and ansible to automate routine tasks
Skills
- US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S
- Firewall engineer experience in managing Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Expertise is managing security policies and NAT policies in Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Knowledgeable in managing virtual machine scale sets
- Understanding of strict change management policies
