[Remote] Cloud Security Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ECS is a full-spectrum cybersecurity organization, and they are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their security operations division. This role involves operating and improving security controls for cloud and web-based assets while maintaining and hardening Linux server infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor security measures across enterprise cloud platforms
- Analyze cloud services and APIs for risk
- Develop the detection and response procedures that keep those environments safe
- Ensure that server infrastructure is securely configured, actively monitored, and thoroughly documented
Skills
- Technically skilled and security-focused Cloud Security Engineer
- Hands-on engineering role, not an architecture or design position
- Experience operating and improving security controls that protect cloud and web-based assets
- Experience maintaining and hardening Linux server infrastructure
- Ability to plan, implement, and monitor security measures across enterprise cloud platforms
- Experience analyzing cloud services and APIs for risk
- Ability to develop detection and response procedures for cloud environments
- Deep system-level expertise in securely configuring server infrastructure
- Experience actively monitoring and thoroughly documenting server infrastructure
