[Remote] Cloud Systems Engineer 3

Dice is hiring a Cloud Systems Engineer 3 to support the stability, scalability, and reliable operation of cloud-based networks and software systems. The role focuses on system integration, performance analysis, distributed virtual machine management, continuous improvement, and resolving systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues.
Responsibilities
- Drives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operations
- Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Creates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMs
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications
- Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes
- Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
- High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- IAT-2 certification required
- One or more cloud certifications required
- Active Secret clearance required
