[Remote] Content Writer/Editor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LifeWise Academy is a faith-based organization focused on making a life-changing impact on students through the Gospel. The Content Writer/Editor will create and edit internal, external, curriculum, and supplemental content while ensuring accuracy and on-brand messaging. The role also involves collaborating with team members, supporting language components, maintaining the Salesforce knowledge base, and documenting processes.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit content for internal and external publications and communications
- Contribute to the writing and editing of LifeWise curriculum and supplemental content
- Complete a variety of writing projects and meet tight deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with other writers and team members
- Provide customer support for language components
- Assist with ongoing maintenance of the knowledge base (Salesforce)
- Maintain process documentation
Skills
- A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with and effectively communicate with users of all levels of knowledge and skill
- Adept at refining written materials for clarity and consistency
- High degree of attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
