[Remote] Cybersecurity Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TurnPoint Services is a growing organization seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen its defenses across cloud and enterprise infrastructure. The role monitors and investigates security alerts, supports incident response, administers identity and access management, reviews cloud security, and helps maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across corporate infrastructure, including cloud and network environments
- Lead and support incident response activities, investigations, and reporting
- Administer and strengthen Identity and Access Management (IAM) across corporate systems
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO), access reviews, and user lifecycle management
- Support security architecture and configuration reviews for Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Help maintain and improve alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0
- Support regulatory compliance activities and company audits
- Assist with vendor management and third-party security risk assessments
- Review security questionnaires and support contract security reviews
- Maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives across a workforce that is primarily field-based and non-desk
- Communicate security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in an enterprise cybersecurity role
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Working knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0
- Experience supporting or preparing for regulatory and compliance audits
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS
- Experience with IAM concepts and SSO configuration/administration
- Familiarity with firewall and network security log review
- Experience with incident response processes
- Exposure to vendor and third-party risk management
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to explain technical risks and security concepts to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-changing environment
- CompTIA CySA+
- CISSP
- AWS or Azure security certifications
- Other relevant cybersecurity certifications or equivalent experience
