[Remote] Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AICines.ai is an AI-powered content creation and monetization platform focused on generating and distributing video content. The Data Analyst will transform platform and product data into actionable insights, build dashboards and reports, analyze user and content performance, support A/B testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on KPIs, forecasting, and workflow optimization.
Responsibilities
- Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing user behavior, content performance, and monetization metrics across the AICines ecosystem
- Build dashboards and reports for product, engineering, and business teams
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Support experimentation through A/B testing and data-driven recommendations
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs
- Optimize workflows
- Contribute to forecasting and performance measurement in a fast-paced AI and media startup environment
Skills
- Strong analytical skills and data analytics experience, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive clear, actionable insights
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical reasoning, including experience with hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and basic forecasting
- Experience in data modeling and working with structured and unstructured data, preferably using modern data tools or platforms
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one analytics or scripting language (e.g., Python, R) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams
- Experience in tech, media, or AI-driven products is beneficial; prior work in startup environments or the creator/streaming economy is a plus
