[Remote] Data Analyst

The role focuses on data preparation, recurring reporting, dashboard review, trend and performance analysis, data-quality validation, and communicating evidence-based findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify missing values, duplicates, inconsistent definitions, and other data-quality concerns
- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, tables, and summaries for stakeholder review
- Compare results across periods, categories, or other relevant dimensions to identify meaningful trends
- Collect, clean, organize, and validate structured data before it is used for analysis or reporting
- Communicate findings in straightforward business language and distinguish evidence from assumptions
- Support improvements to recurring reporting so outputs remain consistent, efficient, and easy to understand
Skills
- Curiosity and sound judgment when a result looks inconsistent with expectations or prior information
- Ability to explain quantitative findings clearly to colleagues with different levels of technical experience
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking data before drawing conclusions
- Foundational knowledge of SQL, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or business intelligence concepts
- Willingness to document work carefully and ask focused questions when requirements or source data are unclear
- The role is full-time and remote within the United States
- Successful remote work here requires steady follow-through, organized communication, and the ability to complete assigned responsibilities independently while asking timely questions when clarification is needed
