[Remote] Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Piper Companies, a division of Zachary Piper Solutions, is seeking a Data Analyst to support a global SAP transformation initiative. The role focuses on ERP data migration, cleansing, mapping, defect resolution, and validation across multiple functional areas while coordinating with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Support data migration activities across functional areas including GSC, MM, PM, PP, LE, eWM, QM, Finance/Procurement, and Commercial
- Collaborate with business data owners, SMEs, and functional teams to understand source data and “To Be” requirements
- Capture and document migration requirements in Data Object Structure (DOS) and Data Definition and Migration (DDAM) formats
- Lead and support data mapping workshops, defining transformation rules and source-to-target mappings
- Coordinate defect resolution and validation efforts during migration cycles
- Ensure alignment with MDG and interface architecture in collaboration with technical teams
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data cleansing and data migration for ERP implementations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred, but not required)
- Proficiency with data tools such as Syniti, SAP Data Services (DS), or Informatica
- Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic in ERP contexts
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across business and IT teams
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation programs
