[Remote] Data & Analytics Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prominent is hiring a Data & Analytics Manager for a partner in the transportation and logistics industry. The role leads the data function across data engineering, analytics, reporting, governance, and master data management while managing technical teams and driving enterprise data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and DBAs
• Drive enterprise data warehouse initiatives using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory
• Partner closely with software development and business teams
• Lead reporting modernization efforts, including Power BI adoption
• Own data governance, data quality, and master data management practices
• Establish standards for data integration, ELT pipelines, and SDLC processes
• Support critical customer-facing reporting and data services
• Manage vendor relationships, offshore resources, and department budgets
• Introduce AI tools and automation to improve team productivity and delivery

Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, warehousing, analytics, or database administration
• 5+ years leading technical teams
• Strong experience with: + Snowflake + Azure Data Factory + SQL Server + Power BI + Data Warehousing + Data Governance + Master Data Management (MDM)
• Experience managing projects and cross-functional stakeholders
• Transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience is a plus
