[Remote] Data Engineer

The role partners closely with business teams to solve data challenges, build reliable business-ready datasets, and develop practical data solutions with real-world impact.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the business, solving data challenges, and building solutions that have a real impact
- Combining data from multiple sources and creating reliable, business-ready datasets
- Work independently but also enjoys partnering directly with business teams to understand what they need and turn that into practical data solutions
Skills
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL skills with experience across platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Oracle, or MySQL
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Alteryx
- Experience with Python and data automation
- Familiarity with Airflow, Cron, or other scheduling/orchestration tools
- Experience combining data from multiple sources and creating reliable, business-ready datasets
- Understanding of data warehouses, dimensional modeling, and slowly changing dimensions
- Must be authorized to work in the US without any sponsorship
- Exposure to PySpark/distributed computing is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Domo is a plus
