[Remote] DevOps Engineer | $60/hr Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the performance and security of applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure using cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments across environments
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate clusters with Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions
• Ensure robust access management and secrets handling leveraging IAM and secrets management tools

Skills

• Have strong relevant experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts
• Have hands-on experience with Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
• Be proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Have knowledge of IAM principles, secrets management, and enforcing security best practices
• Have experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
