[Remote] DevOps Engineer [Zeal]
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zeal, now part of Livefront, is an AI-enabled software consultancy serving Fortune 1000 companies. The DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain reliable infrastructure and delivery systems, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containers, cloud workloads, and observability, while partnering with development teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible
- Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML
- Build monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana
- Operate and optimize workloads across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Partner with development teams to improve deployment, reliability, and security
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and document new and existing infrastructure

- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to use AI tools to improve productivity
- Experience across more than one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
- Experience with GitOps workflows
- Security and compliance automation experience
- A background in a consulting or client-facing environment
