[Remote] DevOps Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agility Partners is partnering with an enterprise technology organization to support large-scale web and mobile applications used by millions of customers. The Senior Platform Deployment Engineer will enhance deployment pipelines, release processes, developer tooling, and platform reliability across web, iOS, and Android environments.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for large-scale web applications
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows, including composite actions, merge queues, caching strategies, artifact management, and deployment automation
- Partner with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve release reliability
- Support iOS and Android release processes including build coordination, code signing, App Store submissions, and Play Store releases
- Evaluate and resolve security vulnerabilities across application dependencies using tools such as Snyk
- Develop automation and platform tooling using Node.js and TypeScript
- Contribute to Kubernetes platform readiness and modernization initiatives
- Help improve observability through metrics, dashboards, and reporting
- Coordinate releases, hotfixes, rollbacks, and deployment communications across multiple engineering teams
Skills
- Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Release Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or CI/CD-focused roles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers, infrastructure teams, and technical stakeholders
- Experience troubleshooting complex issues across applications, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure
- A proactive mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail
- Passion for improving developer productivity and deployment reliability
