[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SoTalent is hiring a Junior Full Stack Developer to join an Agile team developing secure, cloud-native, enterprise-scale software solutions. The role involves participating in the full software development lifecycle, building and maintaining frontend and backend applications, and contributing to automation, deployment, testing, and engineering process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Analyze business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain full stack applications
- Build and support user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data access components
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities
- Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and quality standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and application engineering
- Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with full stack web application development
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and containerized environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Exposure to event-driven and messaging-based systems
- Knowledge of container orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with security-focused development practices
- Experience with Agile project management tools
- Understanding of database design, optimization, and query development
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps automation
