REMOTE Full Stack Java Developer
Remote Full Stack Java Developer We are looking for a remote full stack Java developer application developer to imagine, create, and develop applications to help interact with our customers.
- Support deployed software by investigating issues and rolling out needed patches
- Support the team in tier 2 weekly on-call rotation
- Develop high quality, secure, scalable & maintainable software, abiding by coding standards
- Review code with other developers to share project and technical knowledge
- Deploy projects within build and deploy pipeline, includes transitioning first line support to IT Ops team
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA testers to plan and execute in a high-energy Agile environment
- Participate in technical planning, determine tasks associated with project assignments, estimates and dependencies
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to design software solutions that supports the Mortgage Insurance life cycle
- Update and modernize code to the latest supported versions to ensure security, stability, and support
- Flex to work with new technologies and tools as we explore new ways to deliver business solutions
- Further develop continuous testing and secure coding standards
- Effectively communicate project status and deliveries to team and management
- Mentor and counsel junior teammates
Do you have what it takes? Education: Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Systems. Additional experience (2 years) beyond the minimum (below) may be substituted for education beyond an Associate Degree.
