[Remote] Full-Stack Software Engineer, Growth

The Full-Stack Software Engineer, Growth will work across mobile, web, and backend systems to ship reliable releases, identify growth bottlenecks, run measurable experiments, and improve experimentation and monetization infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Ship changes across Pebble's mobile app, web experiences, and backend; own the technical approach, implementation, testing, release, and production monitoring
- Find bottlenecks in onboarding, activation, monetization, and retention; turn them into focused experiments, instrument events and success metrics, and use the results to scale, revise, or stop
- Improve the systems that make experimentation faster and safer, including feature controls, analytics integrations, and subscription or payment journeys
Skills
- 2+ years building and shipping production software
- Generalist capability: depth in at least one of mobile, web, or backend; production experience in at least one other; and the ability to own changes across system boundaries
- Growth evidence: you personally implemented, measured, and iterated at least one product or funnel improvement. A formal Growth title is not required
- Strong foundations in APIs, data modelling, testing, debugging, release practices, and production monitoring
- A relevant degree is preferred
- Direct mobile-app growth is strongly preferred
- Experience with our stack or a close equivalent, plus App Store or Google Play subscriptions, is a strong advantage
