[Remote] Java Full Stack Developer/Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks. The role works across the full software development lifecycle, including API development, database integration, testing, troubleshooting, deployments, and collaboration with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
- Work with Git and CI/CD tools for source control and deployments
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
- Identify and resolve application performance and production issues
- Prepare technical documentation where required
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
Skills
- • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs
- • Good experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework such as React or Angular
- • Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
- • Knowledge of Git and software development lifecycle practices
- • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- • Experience with Microservices architecture
- • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- • Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks
- • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
