[Remote] Lead Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lumen Technologies provides secure, high-performance connectivity across cloud, edge, and AI workloads through its expansive fiber network and connected ecosystem. The Lead Software Engineer develops and supports Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 solutions, integrates them with Microsoft services and external data sources, and trains and supports the Lumen Maker community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in support of Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio)
- Assist in the support of Microsoft 365 productivity services including SharePoint online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Stream, Viva
- Assist with development projects
- Support end user development; teach, train and consult in our commercial and government tenants
- Develop solutions, document and build end user knowledge base content
Skills
- * Major/Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree
- * 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and other M365 services
- * Power Platform: Knowledge and experience with the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio. Candidates should be able to design, develop, and maintain solutions using these tools
- * Microsoft 365 products and services: Strong understanding of the various products and services included in Microsoft 365 such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
- * Collaboration and communication: Candidates should have strong collaboration and communication skills, as they will need to work closely with others to design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft M365 and Power Platform
- * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- * PowerShell experience
- * Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- * Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices
