[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. H2Engineering is a collaborative architectural engineering organization focused on solving complex challenges in the built environment. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical systems for diverse building projects, participating in production, design, construction, and field investigation activities while collaborating with other disciplines and project teams.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the production, design, and construction phases of the project on a diverse range of building types
• The candidate will work cross-functionally with other disciplines and multiple project teams

Skills

• 3-5 years' experie nce designing and developing projects from concept to completion
• Mechanical design engineer with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for commercial construction including preparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigations
• Experience in designing projects over $5 million construction cost
• Must be able to prepare deliverables including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Detailed knowledge of general building construction and mechanical systems is essential
• Excellent analytical and technical skills needed
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills required
• Revit (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
• This position is a remote work position with the candidate to reside in the Jacksonville to Gainesville, Florida area
