[Remote] MuleSoft Developer

Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. The MuleSoft Developer will design, build, operate, and optimize enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, owning the integration lifecycle from API design through deployment and observability. The role partners with architects, application teams, integration partners, and cross-functional stakeholders while contributing through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Own the integration lifecycle, including API design, flow development, deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization
- Partner with enterprise architects, application teams, and integration partners to deliver reliable, secure, and reusable integration assets
- Work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
- Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of integration experience with strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime
- Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager
- Working knowledge of CI/CD for MuleSoft
- Familiarity with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience integrating with major SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow)
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials
- Exposure to multi-cloud deployment of Mule runtimes
- Familiarity with FinOps and integration cost management
- Experience implementing zero-trust API security models
- Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform
