[Remote] Operations Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Saragossa is a growing company seeking an Operations Engineer for their Professional Services team. This hands-on IT Operations role involves maintaining infrastructure, responding to incidents, and ensuring the performance of critical business tools.
Responsibilities
- Keeping infrastructure running smoothly
- Responding to incidents
- Making sure the tools the business depends on are configured and performing
- Working across servers, networks, storage, and applications
- Using ManageEngine tools day to day
- Digging in, solving problems, and improving how things work
- Shaping how operations are handled as the business scales
- Writing scripts in PowerShell or Bash
- Understanding ITIL processes
Skills
- Hands-on IT Operations experience
- Experience with ManageEngine tools such as OpManager, ServiceDesk Plus, Applications Manager, or similar
- Solid grounding in IT infrastructure fundamentals
- Comfortable working within ITIL processes
- Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or Bash
- Understanding of the importance of automation in a growing environment
