Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist
Job Title: Remote Pharmacist (Prior Authorization) Location: Remote (U.S. — must hold an active Pharmacist license in your state of residence) Pay: $53.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM (your local time) + occasional weekends or Sunday-Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm (your local time) Training Schedule: 5 weeks starting November 30, 2026 — Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT (camera-on required) Job Type: Contract (goal is contract-to-hire, not guaranteed)
Overview
We’re hiring Remote Pharmacists to support a high-volume prior authorization workflow. In this role, you’ll review requests and apply coverage criteria according to established policies and procedures. This is a fully remote position (no onsite requirements). What You’ll Do Review and evaluate prior authorization requests against policy criteria Document decisions accurately and efficiently using computer-based systems Communicate professionally and provide strong customer/service support as needed Maintain strict confidentiality and follow teleworker privacy and security practices Required Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Active Pharmacist license in good standing in your state of residence (must be listed on resume with license number + expiration date) 2+ years of pharmacist experience Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal/communication skills Preferred (Not Required) PBM and/or prior authorization experience (helpful, but not required) Strong retail background (Pharmacy Manager experience is a plus) New graduates may be considered if you have strong leadership/residency/fellowship/project experience Remote Work Requirements (Must Meet) Private, dedicated workspace (not accessible/visible to others during work hours) High-speed internet: minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload Smartphone available for VPN/token access Ability to follow strict security requirements (lock workstation, secure equipment, protect confidential info) Application Instructions (Important) Please include the following on your resume/application: Your active Pharmacist license (state, license #, expiration date) Internet speed test screenshot from Speedtest.net showing download/upload speeds and provider Apply today — qualified candidates will be contacted promptly.
