[Remote] Project Manager

The company is seeking a technically minded Project Manager to support a strategic data lake initiative, coordinating business, data, and technology teams while managing risks, timelines, stakeholder alignment, consolidation efforts, and future AI planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects within a broader data lake program
- Coordinate across business, data, and technology teams
- Track risks, dependencies, barriers, and timelines
- Support data set and system consolidation efforts
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and alignment
- Help evaluate future AI use cases and opportunities
- Support roadmap and strategy discussions
- Keep initiatives moving forward in an ambiguous environment
Skills
- • Proven project management experience in technical environments
- • Background supporting data lake or data platform initiatives
- • Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and timelines effectively
- • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- • Comfort working across business and technical teams
- • Ability to bring structure to complex, evolving work
- • Experience navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- • Familiarity with Databricks and Azure
- • Experience supporting AI-related planning or initiatives
- • Exposure to enterprise data consolidation efforts
- • Experience working within a multi-project program
- • Background in supporting strategic roadmap development
