Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Level Liquidity is hiring a Quantitative Sports Modeler to build a player-level NBA game simulation model. The role focuses on producing calibrated player and team outcome distributions, validating them against real games, and delivering tested Python code for production.

Skills
- Strong probability and statistics: distributions, Monte Carlo methods, calibration
- Strong Python
- The ability to find and clean your own sports data
- Applicants must be based in the US (excluding California) and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor visas
- You've built a sports model or simulation you're proud of, and you can show it
- You can explain complicated ideas simply, to people who aren't experts in your field
- Experience modeling basketball or other player-level sports
