Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ECS is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the Department of Homeland Security. The role focuses on optimizing cloud services, automating infrastructure, designing enterprise solutions, and applying DevSecOps and software engineering practices while providing technical leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Continuously optimize AWS and Gitlab cloud platform services across all integration points
Interact closely with key project stakeholders to design, plan, and implement operationally sustainable solutions
Work closely with the engineering team to deliver proposed solutions
Provide thought leadership across engineering efforts
Problem-solve technical challenges as they arise and adjust solutions based on discoveries or new requirements

Skills

This role requires expertise in cloud services, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, open-source ecosystems, enterprise solution design, and software and infrastructure engineering practices
