[Remote] Senior Google Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen develops mission-focused technology solutions for government and defense environments. The Senior Google Cloud Engineer will support secure cloud service delivery by developing automation, provisioning Google Cloud Platform resources with Infrastructure as Code, and working with containerization and networking across secure environments.
Responsibilities
- Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation
- Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ) , scripting, and so met imes writing applications
- Make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments
Skills
- * 3+ years of experience implementing IaC using Terraform
- * 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions in Google Cloud Platform
- * Experience building sof tware solutions for secure government cloud environments
- * Experience designing and automating the provisioning of Google Cloud Platform resources using IaC and automation tools
- * Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub / Sub, Cloud Storage, or Cloud SQL
- * Experience with code management tools such as Git or GitLab, in a collaborative team environment
- * Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, VPCs, private connectivity, and TLS
- * Secret clearance
- * HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with sof tware engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with sof tware engineering
- * Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date
- * Experience building, securing, and optimizing workloads on Google Cloud Platform
- * Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining cloud governance controls such as Google Cloud Platform organization policies and IAM best practices
