[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eight Sleep develops sleep fitness products that feature hydro-powered cooling technology and a health tracker. They are seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to work on their mobile app, which is the primary point of interaction for users to control their product and gain insights.
Responsibilities
- You will work very closely with other Engineers (backend, firmware, ML), departments (R&D, Growth, Hardware), and Executives (CEO, CPO, VPs)
- You will conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize the app performance to enhance the experience of our members
Skills
- 4+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps
- Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI
- Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability
- Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose
- Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field
- Experience working with Health related apps and peripherals
