[Remote] Software Engineer (Data Privacy)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Temu is hiring a Software Engineer (Data Privacy) for a full-time remote role. The position focuses on developing scalable backend infrastructure, secure data processing frameworks, regulatory compliance, real-time monitoring, risk detection, and operational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend infrastructure to support end-to-end data lifecycle management and governance
- Design and implement core frameworks and tooling to enable secure data processing and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization
- Engineer automated solutions for real-time system monitoring, risk detection, and operational resilience
Skills
- 2+ years in software engineering with strong CS fundamentals; prior experience with Java is a plus
- Strong capabilities in system design and distributed systems principles
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and a high sense of ownership
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with privacy compliance is a plus
