[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer - DMV
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mobomo is a full-service DevOps agency creating solutions to complex problems. The company is seeking a senior software engineer to independently design and develop backend features, maintain cloud-based Kubernetes infrastructure, improve CI/CD pipelines, and integrate scientific software and algorithms into production systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new backend features
- Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems
Skills
- 5+ years of backend software development experience
- Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration
- Linux systems administration experience
- Experience working with Docker containers
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
- Must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
- Must be able to obtain a US government clearance
- Available for periodic in-person meetings at a Washington, DC office
- PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS
- Golang and Python programming
