[Remote] Strategic Account Executive, Named Accounts (Remote, US)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Maze is hiring a Strategic Account Executive to grow strategic enterprise accounts and expand adoption of its user research platform. The role focuses on account development, self-generated pipeline, complex sales cycles, customer contracts, revenue forecasting, and sharing product feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion across teams, business units and executive stakeholders
- Proactively build and manage your own sales pipeline through thoughtful outbound prospecting, account planning and new business development
- Navigate complex, multistakeholder sales cycles, building relationships with decision-makers across Research, Product, Design and Market Research
- Develop strategic account plans that uncover whitespace opportunities and drive long-term customer growth
- Partner with internal resources across customer success, support, legal, security, finance & leadership to execute customer contracts
- Forecast performance accurately against revenue targets
- Share best practices & product feedback to make your teammates and our product suite even better
Skills
- 5+ years of quota carrying SaaS sales experience with a history of over achievement and experience managing full cycle sales
- Experience working with external stakeholders across procurement, legal, security, & executives
- Proven ability to independently prospect into large enterprise organizations, create new opportunities and consistently build self-generated pipeline
- Experience developing strategic account plans, multithreading across stakeholders and identifying expansion opportunities within complex organizations
- Experience territory planning, account planning, prospecting & selling into teams
- Familiarity with sales tools like CRMs, prospecting & automation tools
- Strong communication skills, presentation polish & poise
- Able to effectively navigate ambiguity
- You're passionate and/or have experience in the research & design tooling space
- You have worked in a fast growing startup environment
- You have a track record of quick promotion and have demonstrated strong success in developing nurturing strategies within existing self-service business
