[Remote] Territory Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Preverco manufactures hardwood flooring. The Territory Account Manager drives sales growth and manages customer and partner relationships within an assigned territory by developing business, supporting accounts, and coordinating internally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Driving sales growth and managing relationships within an assigned geographic territory
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and providing consultative support to distributors, retailers, and other partners
- Regular virtual and in-person meetings with customers, presenting product solutions, preparing quotes, and following up on leads to close sales
- Monitors market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and improve territory performance
- Collaboration with internal teams such as customer service, logistics, and marketing is essential to ensure seamless order fulfillment, accurate product information, and a high level of customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in territory or account management, building materials, or related industries
- Strong skills in relationship building, customer service, and consultative selling
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and develop territory growth plans
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in-person and via digital platforms
- Comfort with remote work technologies, CRM systems, and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations)
- Self-directed work style with strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills
- Relevant education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of hardwood flooring or construction materials is an asset
