[Remote] Vendor Management Program Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is recruiting for a large FinTech client seeking a senior Vendor Management Program Manager to support and mature its vendor management program. The role oversees technology vendor relationships, software renewals, procurement initiatives, contract management, risk reviews, compliance, and technology spend optimization while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle for technology vendors and service providers
- Lead contract renewals, negotiations, and vendor engagement strategies
- Drive procurement projects and partner with Finance, Legal, Security, and IT teams throughout the vendor onboarding and renewal process
- Monitor vendor performance through scorecards, KPIs, and business reviews
- Manage software license inventories, utilization, and optimization efforts
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, and process improvements
- Maintain vendor records, contract documentation, and renewal calendars
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure vendors meet business requirements, security standards, and compliance expectations
- Develop and improve vendor management processes, reporting, and governance frameworks
- Provide strategic recommendations regarding vendor selection, renewal decisions, and technology investments
Skills
- 5-7+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, IT Asset Management, or a related field
- Experience independently managing vendor relationships and software renewals
- Strong understanding of SaaS licensing, contract management, and procurement processes
- Experience with vendor performance reviews, scorecarding, and governance programs
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and Procurement
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within IT organizations and supporting technology-focused business functions
- Experience using Coupa for procurement and purchase order management
- Experience using Productiv or similar SaaS management platforms
- Experience with spend analysis, software optimization, and vendor rationalization initiatives
- Previous experience in FinTech or highly regulated environments
