[Remote] Voice Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Baanyan Software Services, Inc. is seeking a Voice Network Engineer to support enterprise network and voice infrastructure. The role manages LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and voice services, designs and maintains IP network architecture, oversees vendors and support contracts, and troubleshoots network infrastructure issues, including through travel within New York State when physical work is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage LAN/SDWAN and Voice services across the enterprise
- Develop, support, and maintain voice services to meet the needs of Client teams
- Assure that support & maintenance contracts for software and hardware are current
- Design, implement and document IP network architecture and services
Skills
- Ability to travel within New York State to perform physical work on network and voice infrastructure

- Expert-level technical knowledge of network services (DHCP, DNS, etc.)
- Expert-level experience managing vendor relationships and vendor oversight
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, an entrepreneurial edge, resourcefulness, adaptability, and an instinct for surfacing value and pragmatic solutions
- Skill in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
- The ideal candidate is trained and experienced with Cisco and Extreme network equipment and the tools used to support those network environments
- Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or an Associate's degree in a STEM field plus 1-2 years of relevant work experience
