Senior Litigation Counsel
Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Location: Remote within California. Candidates must reside in California and be licensed with the California State Bar. Occasional in-person court appearances and client meetings may be required.
Note: Candidates must have 5+ years of business or commercial litigation experience, be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar, and currently reside in California.

Job Description
- Handle sophisticated business and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk assessment and dispute resolution.
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues under California law.
- Manage all phases of discovery, including depositions, written discovery, and document review.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
- Negotiate settlements while protecting client interests and business objectives.
- Appear before California Superior Courts for hearings and other proceedings.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to develop litigation strategy and improve client outcomes.
- Manage deadlines while independently handling an active litigation caseload.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 5+ years of business or commercial litigation experience.
- Strong courtroom, motion practice, and deposition experience.
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience managing litigation files independently.
- Strong negotiation and client counseling abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely while managing deadlines effectively.
