SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Remote
Job Title: SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: Remote Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support, optimize, and enhance SigmaFlow-based data pipelines and workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SigmaFlow, advanced SQL skills, database technologies, and Python-based automation. The candidate will serve as the technical expert for SigmaFlow implementations, ensuring reliable data processing, system integration, performance optimization, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SigmaFlow workflows. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and data quality. Troubleshoot complex workflow failures and resolve production issues. Design and maintain integrations with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and Snowflake. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models. Use Python for data processing, automation, and system integrations. Support integration with enterprise systems, data lakes, and upstream and downstream applications. Provide Tier 3 production support, root cause analysis (RCA), and long-term corrective actions. Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and enterprise architects to develop scalable data solutions. Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform best practices. Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and operational standards. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data engineering, workflow orchestration, or analytics platforms. Demonstrated hands-on expertise in the SigmaFlow platform, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting. Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design. Working knowledge of Python scripting, automation, and data processing. Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing. Familiarity with Linux environments, Git, monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the utilities, energy, grid operations, or critical infrastructure domains. Knowledge of real-time or near-real-time data processing. Experience integrating enterprise systems such as OMS, ADMS, AMI, and GIS. Familiarity with cloud data platforms, hybrid environments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and compliance requirements.
