We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect (Salesforce) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps solutions supporting complex Salesforce environments. This role combines technical architecture, automation, release management, CI/CD strategy, and stakeholder engagement to help organizations modernize software delivery and maximize the value of their Salesforce investments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-scale DevOps architectures and deployment orchestration solutions for complex Salesforce environments. Lead CI/CD strategy development and automation initiatives that improve release quality, speed, and reliability. Define and govern release management processes, deployment standards, and change control practices across Salesforce programs. Evaluate, select, and implement DevOps, testing, security, and automation tools aligned with business and technical requirements. Partner with client stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams to define scalable deployment and delivery frameworks. Develop automated build, test, deployment, and monitoring solutions that support continuous delivery objectives. Implement governance models that ensure security, compliance, traceability, and operational excellence. Drive adoption of AI-enabled development and DevOps workflows to improve productivity and delivery outcomes. Establish environment management, branching strategies, version control standards, and release planning processes. Oversee deployment activities and provide technical guidance during major releases and transformation initiatives. Collaborate with development teams to identify automation opportunities and improve software delivery performance. Support security assessments, quality assurance practices, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the release lifecycle. Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices, automation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 6 to 10+ years of Salesforce platform experience supporting enterprise implementations and deployments. Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps operating models. Expertise in release management, deployment automation, and Salesforce delivery lifecycle processes. Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub. Hands-on experience with DevOps and automation tools including Jenkins and related CI/CD platforms. Strong understanding of Salesforce development, configuration, deployment methodologies, and platform architecture. Experience implementing automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices. Knowledge of security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements in cloud environments. Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving as a DevOps Architect or technical lead for large-scale Salesforce transformation programs. Knowledge of AI-assisted software delivery and intelligent automation capabilities. Experience working in consulting, client-facing, or enterprise transformation environments. Familiarity with Docker, cloud-native deployment practices, and modern platform engineering concepts. Experience implementing enterprise governance, release orchestration, and environment management frameworks. Salesforce certifications and DevOps-related certifications are highly desirable. Ability and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
