Sr. Engineer, Collaboration

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Engineer, Collaboration to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will lead the design and delivery of collaboration and messaging capabilities across a global environment, with a strong focus on reliability, governance, and employee experience. You will own complex implementations and serve as a technical leader during incidents, changes, and service improvements. The position partners closely with security, compliance, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure modern workplace services are resilient, well-governed, and aligned to organizational needs. Location: Remote Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead complex implementations of Microsoft 365 collaboration services Own service health and provide technical leadership during major incidents Implement architecture, governance, security, and compliance standards Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for service delivery and restoration Mentor Collaboration Engineers and drive automation and support readiness improvements Qualifications 8+ years of experience in collaboration, messaging, voice, or Microsoft 365 engineering Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Proven track record in improving service reliability and employee experience Strong judgment in navigating complex implementation and policy matters
