About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IBM Maximo Administrator to lead mission-critical Maximo upgrade, migration, integration, and modernization initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in IBM Maximo 7.5/7.6, IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9, infrastructure migrations, Oracle databases, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lead, driving complex projects from planning through production implementation while ensuring performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities ✅ Lead IBM Maximo upgrade, migration, and modernization projects. ✅ Provide technical leadership for IBM Maximo 7.5, 7.6, and MAS 9 environments. ✅ Architect, configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Maximo solutions. ✅ Lead Maximo upgrades from 7.5 to 7.6 and migration to MAS 9. ✅ Support infrastructure migrations (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud platforms). ✅ Perform Oracle database migration and upgrade activities. ✅ Design and support Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) solutions. ✅ Troubleshoot complex issues involving: Maximo WebSphere Application Server IBM HTTP Server Oracle Databases Middleware Networking SSL/TLS Certificates ✅ Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and performance issues. ✅ Review technical designs, deployment plans, code changes, and database updates. ✅ Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Development, QA, and Business teams. ✅ Develop architecture documentation, implementation procedures, and support guides. ✅ Ensure solutions meet security, availability, recoverability, and performance standards. Required Skills & Experience ✔ 10+ years of enterprise application administration experience. ✔ Extensive experience with: IBM Maximo 7.5 IBM Maximo 7.6 IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9 ✔ Strong expertise in: Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) WebSphere Application Server IBM HTTP Server Oracle Databases Java Enterprise Applications ✔ Experience leading: Maximo Upgrades Maximo Migrations Re-platforming Projects Modernization Initiatives ✔ Experience with: VMware Microsoft Hyper-V Enterprise Infrastructure Migrations ✔ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. ✔ Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications ⭐ Experience migrating legacy Maximo environments to IBM MAS. ⭐ Experience with: Red Hat OpenShift Containerized Platforms Cloud-hosted Enterprise Applications ⭐ Experience supporting highly available production environments. ⭐ Knowledge of: Cybersecurity Change Management Disaster Recovery Audit Compliance ⭐ Experience working with vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers.
