DBT Architect- REMOTE

Position :- DBT ArchitectExperience :-20YearsRemoteResponsibilities :-Design and implement modern data transformation solutions using dbt Cloud within an Open Lakehouse Architecture.Deep knowledge of analytics engineering principles , data modeling , and open-source lakehouse technologies (Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi) to enable scalable, governed, and high-performing data platformsSolutioning & Architecture Design :Architect dbt-based transformation layers for Open Lakehouse environments.Define data modeling strategies , semantic layers , and CI / CD pipelines for analytics workflows.Ensure schema evolution and data governance across Lakehouse tables.Integration with Modern Data Stack :Work with query engines (Trino, Presto, Starburst) and object storage (GCS, S3).Optimize dbt workflows for Iceberg , Delta Lake , or Hudi tables.Performance & Scalability :Implement incremental models , materializations , and partitioning strategies for large-scale datasets.Collaboration & Enablement :Partner with data engineers , BI teams , and data scientists to deliver self-service analytics.Conduct workshops and best practice sessions for dbt adoption.Governance & Compliance :Ensure data quality , lineage tracking , and metadata management using dbt and lakehouse toolsTechnical Expertise :Hands-on experience with dbt Cloud and analytics engineering principles.Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Jinja templating.Experience with Open Lakehouse frameworks (Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi).Knowledge of query federation tools (Starburst, Trino)Educational Qualifications :-Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc.Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.Skills :-dbt Cloud deployment and configurationSQL proficiency and analytics engineering principles.Open Lakehouse frameworks (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi).Query federation tools (Starburst, Trino).DevOps and CI / CD Framework(s).
