External Auditor
External Auditor/Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Senior Associate Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead external audit engagements for Asset & Wealth Management clients.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting and auditing standards.
- Identify and resolve accounting, financial reporting, and audit-related issues.
- Work directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors.
- Use audit technology, data analytics, and automation tools to improve audit efficiency.
- Analyze large datasets and provide meaningful business insights.
- Support process improvements and contribute to client service excellence.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in external auditing within the Asset & Wealth Management industry.
- Experience auditing Private Equity, Hedge Fund, or Real Estate clients.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and work effectively in a team environment.
Must Have
- 3+ years of External Audit experience.
- Experience auditing clients in one or more of the following:
- Private Equity Funds
- Hedge Funds
- Real Estate Funds
- Asset & Wealth Management Firms
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
Preferred
- CPA Certification.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
