Verify the identity of signers and administer oaths or affirmations as required. Walk borrowers through their loan package and make sure every signature, date, and initial is completed. Accurately complete notarial certificates and keep a complete notary journal and log. Return signed loan packages to the lender, title, or escrow company by the required deadline. Ensure compliance with Maryland and federal notary laws and regulations. Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive borrower documents. Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with borrowers and clients. KEY PROFILE Must be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
